DreamsIndia is a Non Government Organisation, started a couple of years back, actively working since another black day in the history of Justice i.e. Verdict of acquittal of all accused in Jessica Lall murder case.

Mission DreamsIndia is a revolutionary initiative to revamp Electoral Process, re-define Democracy and to re-build India of our dreams.

There are no second opinions about the deteriorating Law and Order situation, uprise in crime, decline in moral values and most alarming threat to good governance is UNFAIR POLITICS.

One would be surprised to analyse the facts if we look back over the past couple of decades, especially since "The era of coalition governments", there has been a sharp increment in "Crime in Politics" and a steep decline in "Moral Values". Heinous crimes like murder, rape, robbery, kidnappings have sharply increased and "Law and Order" situation has deteriorated.

And the only reason behind this is "Over ambitiousness, selfish and greedy " nature of politicians. Our politicians' greed for seizure of power, by "hook or by crook" has set aside the interests of The Nation and The Welfare of People of India. Politicians succeed in fulfilling their own interests because:

1. The laxities in the system permit them to do so
2. The flaws in Electoral Process allow them not only to play their dirtiest tricks but to manipulate and divert the "Public Mandate" in their own interests and favours
3. The fairest authorities like "President House", "Supreme Courts of India", "Election Commission of India" can do little to throw such evil elements out of the system as they have successfully guided public mandate in their favour

To improve anything and everything else, The First and The Important of all is "Reforms in Electoral Process"

Mission DreamsIndia in its first phase, takes initiative to "Revamp Electoral Process" by seeking the following amendments:

1. Presidential Elections by People of India i.e. Voters
   
2. Neutral Voting (i.e. A voter is free to chose no candidate)
   
3. Mandatory Voting
   
4. Dissolution of political parties and introduction of independent candidates
5. No dropping of second and third candidates who loose elections
6. Policing under Judiciary instead of Home Ministry / Ministry of Law and Order
